Madurai International Airport which is 140Km from Munnar by (National Highway 49).

By train
The nearest railway station is Aluva, 110 km. Ernakulam is 130 km and Madurai is 135km You can get the direct regular buses to Munnar First Bus starts at 6AM.

Best resort in munnar

Meanwhile on my journey to munnar, I visted Fog resort and spa. The property was beyond my expectation. It was like a merry land for me and one of the best resort in munnar. The major highlight was well professionalized  staff with immense service with a cheering face.

The major attraction of Fog Resort is its ambience. All the infrastructure was well planned, just like english cottages. We stayed in Fog villa which is having 2 Bedroom, Hall, Kitchen, Private Lawn. All rooms are well arranged, especially the room service is pleasureful. The F&B service of the resort is also delightful.

Meanwhile the resort engage their guest with their outdoor activities. Such as campfire, night safari to chinnar wild life sanctuary, Cycling etc. For night safari we are accombined by a guide and a driver. Driving through the dense forest is an awesome experience.

 According to me the resorts suits for both honeymooners and family. As they have luxury blend rooms with kid friendly atmosphere ie kids pool. The fog resort is the best family resort in munnar
